OB BTS:  Graeme really wanted the clue from the book to be something whimsical and surprising, if this book was written to Rachel by her father, it would be to the Rachel he remembers when he left—a seven-year-old girl. So a nursery rhyme seemed natural. The key code system needed to make text work in a cool and visually interesting way, so we use a system where the scratched-out letters themselves formed a coded language, so that the symbols would emerge from the page as Rachel deciphered them. We love you, Rachel! Even as we want to poke your other eye out with a pencil.

Tatiana Maslany on Kathryn Alexandre
"There were times on set where I was so tired and I just didn’t know how I was going to get through the day, how I was going to remember my lines, how I was going to even just be there and she would show up and give me everything and it was like I just fell in love with her. She just was so there for me and so giving of all of her energy and all of her work. That’s the ultimate generosity as an actor.

Because Tatiana Maslany is an amazing actress and did not win an Emmy or Golden Globe for her depiction of EIGHT FREAKING CLONES on BBC America’s Orphan Black, one fan has decided to do something about it. Sarah Evans sent me a link to the Indiegogo campaign she started to get the actress her own special award – a Clone Club Award!
