See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna
Allison and Isaac, on Finding Lydia’s Car duty, have a cutesy-pie conversation about whether Isaac was really Isaac when they did the horizontal mambo the other night, or if he was completely under the control of the demon fly. Allison wants to know whether the person she had sex with was actually a supernatural entity seducing her under false pretenses. Awwwwwww—playing potential rape for comedy, like how Isaac’s history of child abuse was the butt of jokes earlier in the season. How cute!

Kira gets herself in on the adventure after showing Scott that, whaddayaknow, she’s apparently preternaturally talented with a sword. And you know I love my violent ladies, but… Teen Wolf, don’t. Don’t do that. Do you know how uncomfortably close this is to the “all Asians come out of the womb knowing martial arts” stereotype? And this from a show where the major downside of an otherwise excellent half-season has been its reliance on ~Asian people and their yakuza and their kitsunes and their Asian magicks~. And now part and parcel with being a Japanese fox demon is epic sword skillz. Stop it.

The first half of season three has had a lot of problems—the aforementioned reliance on screwing over Derek has a narrative device, general loose ends and inconsistency, sloppy storytelling, weaksauce villains. But I’m going to play the optimist here and say it looks like we’re being set up for some potentially awesome things in the second half of the season. Other types of monsters coming to Beacon Hills (ohai, Teen Wolf fanfic)! Dark!Stiles (slightly less Teen Wolf fanfic)! Derek going back to being a beta and therefore hopefully losing some of his angst and interacting with the other characters a bit more!
